Author in Residence

Yours truly is now an official Author in Residence in Booksky. What does that mean? It means that I have been given the best room of the Mind Palace, with an imbeatable view on the rolly hashtags in the distance. I can write full time, while the minions take care of my books’ visibility. I live the dream.

Collabs

What’s the weakness of indie authors? We each are alone and 1/4,000,000 are daunting odds.1

What’s our superpower? COL-LA-BO-RA-TION (and Kohōpeh-ration).
So we work together, we network, we exchange, we support each other, bang!

So let us start with July freebies:

Freebies Basket

Many of these books are fresh of the e-press, a few are more established or belong in a series. Most are free to download and make your own. Others are heavily discounted. There is romance, at various points on the chilly-o-meter (up to PG-13, no erotica), introspective works, and many others to discover. Some pearls, and of course, my own diamond-in-the-rough.

Remember When? Nostalgia & Simpler Times Free Book Fair 5 books

Free historical fiction for summer, themed on conflicts 18 books

I am participating to these promos with the new novella What is the colour of purple?, a comedic account of the whereabouts of the Zen Monk Takuan during the Purple Robe Incident.

Then some serious discounts and promotions:

Discounted Shelf

LOTUS, MUD, BLADE is playing along:

Relax with Summer Time Reading 22 books

Summer Debuts & New in Series: Fresh Hot Fiction from Cool Indie Authors 34 books

Travel the World With a New Book 9 books

Historical Action and Adventure 16 books

Yoshi, by Casey Morales

ENVOY

Did I mention free books? Did I mention a sale? OK, enjoy, I am going back to writing.

Stay tuned for the preview next week on Bluesky, wait for the new moon for your next newsletter, or come visit the site.
